Have contacts that you need to call outside of the US or Canada? We've got you covered!
In order to get started, you first need to have international calling enabled for your account. To enable international calling, please follow the steps in our guide here or watch the video below.
Here's how to make an international call based on the app you're using:
Web/Desktop app Mobile app
There are two ways to call an international number using the web or desktop app.

When making a call, type '+' followed by the country code and number you wish to call. If that number is already saved as a contact, you can just type the contact's name and call.

You can make calls within an active conversation with an international number by clicking the call icon on the top right corner 📞

When making a call, press and hold '0' to type '+', then input the country code and the number you wish to call. If that number is already saved as a contact, you can search that contact on the call screen.

Items to note when making international calls on OpenPhone
- You won't be able to call or message internationally during the free trial. If you wish to end the trial early you can at any time by visiting the "Billing" section of your workspace settings.
- Please keep in mind that each country has different rates for calling and messaging. For more information, please check out our international calling/messaging rates pricing page.
- Calls and texts to international numbers will be deducted from the credits on your account on a per-usage basis. To add credit to your account to cover international calls, please see this help doc.
